Synopsis for Shane Black’s THE PREDATOR Unleashed

This summer we will be hit with Shane Black (Iron Man 3) and Fred Dekker’s (The Monster Squad) new take on The Predator. I’m excited as hell and I hope you are too.
20th Century Fox just unveiled the film’s official plot synopsis at CinemaCon and you it goes a little something like this:
“From the outer reaches of space to the small-town streets of suburbia, the hunt comes home in Shane Black’s explosive reinvention of the Predator series. Now, the universe’s most lethal hunters are stronger, smarter and deadlier than ever before, having genetically upgraded themselves with DNA from other species. When a young boy accidentally triggers their return to Earth, only a ragtag crew of ex-soldiers and a disgruntled science teacher can prevent the end of the human race.”

The film is directed by Shane Black from a script written by Black and Fred Dekker and stars Boyd Holbrook, Jacob Tremblay, Yvonne Strahovski, Olivia Munn, Keegan-Michael Key, Sterling K. Brown, Trevante Rhodes, Thomas Jane, Augusto Aguilera, Jake Busey, and Edward James Olmos.
The Predator hits theaters nationwide September 14, 2018.
