Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson Introduces New Rampage Teaser With Fun Skit

You’ve got to love Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

Sure the man might pick some questionable posters to throw his mug on, but he seems to be a fun guy that could totally beat up your dad. With that in mind, today we have a fun tweet from The Rock where he introduces a “badass” new trailer for his upcoming action movie Rampage.

The video is more of a skit than a trailer but it’s more fun than a typical teaser/TV sport so it’s all good in my eyes. Oh, and while we’re here, we also have a new poster for the film to share with you guys and you can check it out to the right.

Rampage is directed by Brad Peyton and stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Naomie Harris, Malin Akerman, Jake Lacy, Joe Manganiello, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

The film hits theaters April 13.

Synopsis:

Primatologist Davis Okoye (Johnson), a man who keeps people at a distance, shares an unshakable bond with George, the extraordinarily intelligent silverback gorilla who has been in his care since birth. But a rogue genetic experiment gone awry transforms this gentle ape into a raging monster. To make matters worse, it’s soon discovered there are other similarly altered alpha predators.

As these newly created monsters tear across North America, destroying everything in their path, Okoye teams with a discredited genetic engineer to secure an antidote, fighting his way through an ever-changing battlefield, not only to halt a global catastrophe but to save the fearsome creature that was once his friend.
