Two weeks back we shared the first look at Zac Efron as Ted Bundy in director Joe Berlinger’s upcoming thriller Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile.
The project, which is “told through the perspective of Elizabeth Kloepfer, Bundy’s longtime girlfriend,” has now cast The Maze Runner star Kaya Scodelario as Carole Ann Boone, the ex-wife of the notorious serial killer.
I’m a fan of the actress after her turn in the recent Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales and felt she was one of the few shining lights amongst the over-stuffed kiddie flick. Can’t wait to see her go head-to-head with Ted Bundy.

Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile is directed by Joe Berlinger (Blair Witch: Book of Shadows) from a script by Michael Werwie. The movie stars Zac Efron, Kaya Scodelario, Angela Sarafyan, and Jeffrey Donovan.
We’ll let you know when we hear more.
Ted Bundy’s tale as told through the perspective of Elizabeth Kloepfer, Bundy’s longtime girlfriend, who went years denying the accusations against Bundy but ultimately turned him into the police. Only nearing his execution, when Bundy began talking about his extensive and heinous murders, did Kloepfer, and the rest of the world, learn the true scope of his numerous and grizzly murders.
