The Voice Actors From Pinky and the Brain Redid a Scene From The Silence of the Lambs

There are very few films that I describe as being “perfect”. It’s so rare, that I think I can count my picks on one hand. Jonathan Demme’s 1991 psychological horror/thriller The Silence of the Lambs, which is based on Thomas Harris’ novel, is one of those films.
A masterfully tense and phenomenally adapted piece of cinema, The Silence of the Lambs is a movie that I never get tired of watching. Every viewing leaves me in pure awe of its storytelling and its ability to create well-rounded characters that feel real and alive.
All that being said, I’ve never been one to avoid a good little poke and prod at what I love, which is why I’m absolutely delighted to have stumbled across this gem of a video from the folks over at Nerdist where “Animaniacs” voice actors Rob Paulsen and Maurice LaMarche reenacted the scene where Agent Starling first meets Dr. Hannibal Lecter in their Pinky and the Brain voices! This really is a delight for someone who loves the film but also grew up with that cartoon. Who knew that such a marriage could be so perfect?
