Stephen Dorff Joins True Detective Season Three

The last word we brought you guys regarding the upcoming third season of HBO’s “True Detective” was to let you know that Carmen Ejogo (Alien: Covenant) had joined the cast.
Today we have news that none other than The Gate and Leatherface star Stephen Dorff will be joining in on the fun this season as well!
Dorff will play Roland West, an Arkansas State Investigator who, along with his partner (Mahershala Ali), has his life and career influenced over three decades by a baffling crime.

Nic Pizzolatto will serve as showrunner and direct alongside Jeremy Saulnier. Executive producers include Pizzolatto, Saulnier, Scott Stephens and season one stars Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey as well as original director Cary Joji Fukunaga. Steve Golin, Bard Dorros, and Richard Brown are also credited as exec producers.
Synopsis:
A macabre crime in the heart of the Ozarks and a mystery that deepens over decades and plays out in three separate time periods.
