Last month we brought you guys your first look at the upcoming sequel to director Bryan Bertino’s now-classic home invasion thriller The Strangers.

And today we have The Strangers: Prey at Night teaser trailer and poster!

While I respect the original film as one of the top flicks most of my girlfriends think is the scariest movie of all-time (true story), I wasn’t the biggest fan of the original. That said, this new installment looks to have a brighter color palette and sport a tone more in the vein of “good times” than sinister end-to-end.

Not that sinister is a bad thing – especially, duh, for a horror movie – but the trailer’s ironic use of Tiffany’s “I Think We’re Alone Now” had this guy smiling ear-to-ear.

You can check out the teaser trailer for yourself below, and then make sure to hit us up and let us know what you think in the comments below or on social media!

The Stranger: Prey at Night is directed by Johannes Roberts (47 Meters Down) from a script by Bryan Bertino and Ben Ketai. It stars Martin Henderson, Christina Hendricks, Bailee Madison, and Lewis Pullman.

The film hits March 9, 2018.

Synopsis:
A family’s road trip takes a dangerous turn when they arrive at a secluded mobile home park to stay with some relatives and find it mysteriously deserted. Under the cover of darkness, three masked psychopaths pay them a visit to test the family’s every limit as they struggle to survive. Johannes Roberts directs this horror film inspired by the 2008 smash hit THE STRANGERS.
