Publisher Koei Tecmo have confirmed that Attack on Titan 2 will be released in March 2018, although they didn’t give an exact date. The game will be available on PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.

Serving as a direct sequel to last year’s Attack on Titan: Wings of Freedom, Attack on Titan 2 will is also being developed by Omega Force, and will once again see players swinging from rooftops in epic battles against humanoid creatures known as Titans. There will be over 30 playable characters including many fan favorites from the manga. Unlike the first game, you will also now have the ability to create and build your own characters if the ones available aren’t enough. In between slaying giants, the Town Life system will allow you to explore the open-world environment of the walled city.

To date, the Attack on Titan manga series by Hajime Isayama has sold 66 million copies worldwide, so Attack on Titan 2 is already certified to be a hit. Until the game releases next year, you can enjoy a collection of trailers, gameplay footage, and screenshots below.
