Another After Dark Original is getting set to make its DVD debut as Steven C. Miller’s Scream of the Banshee tears its way home. To celebrate the flick’s arrival, we have a new clip for ya! Dig it!
From the Press Release: Horror fans will be terrified by those who know best, as the creators of the widely popular After Dark Horrorfest series return with an all-new original film. Available this July, Lionsgate debuts After Dark Originals: Scream of the Banshee on DVD, Digital Download and On Demand. Developed by today’s leading horror film producers – After Dark Films. Arriving on DVD July 26th, the film will be available for the suggested retail price of $19.98 each.
SCREAM OF THE BANSHEE SYNOPSIS
A Syfy Channel co-production, Scream of the Banshee stars Lauren Holly (TV’s “NCIS”) and Lance Henriksen (TV’s “Millennium”). Holly plays an archeology professor who discovers an ornate box in the basement of the university. When the box is opened, it unleashes the bloodcurdling scream of the banshee alluded to in Irish folklore. Not eager to take the threat of looming deaths of those who hear it very seriously, everyone tries to move on until the creature begins to come for them. An original film event, Scream of the Banshee made its debut on SyFy in March 2011.
