Fox TV Gets Us Ready for Fall with New Promos for The Exorcist and Lucifer

Two Fox TV shows we’re looking forward to reuniting with this fall deal with the devil; however, they are definitely on opposite ends of the spectrum! “The Exorcist” and “Lucifer” will be returning in a few weeks, and today we have new promos for both series.
“The Exorcist” resumes on Friday, September 29th. Season 2 picks up with Father Tomas Ortega (Alfonso Herrera) and the now-collarless Marcus Keane (Ben Daniels) out of Chicago and on the road, searching out evil. Across the Atlantic, Father Bennett (Kurt Egyiawan) attempts to weed out those within The Vatican who have turned against God. Ultimately, Tomas and Marcus are led to Andrew Kim (John Cho), a former child psychologist who runs a group home for five at-risk foster children on a secluded private island off the coast of Seattle. When one of the children under Andrew’s care is targeted by a powerful force, the two priests head west, setting themselves on a collision course with Hell.

“Lucifer” stars Tom Ellis, Lauren German, Rachael Harris, DB Woodside, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Kevin Alejandro, Aimee Garcia, and Scarlett Estevez with Tom Welling joining them as Marcus Pierce, an accomplished police lieutenant who is everything Lucifer (Ellis) is not: strategic, reserved, and well-respected. But perhaps even more annoying are all the things they have in common. Both men are charming, charismatic, and handsome as hell. So when Pierce starts developing a connection with Decker (German), Lucifer’s devilish traits are inflamed. When Season 2 ended, Lucifer had been kidnapped and then had his angel wings restored. To see where it all leads, be sure to tune in when Season 3 kicks off at 8 PM on Monday, October 2nd.
