Mike Flanagan is turning his Netflix adaptation of “The Haunting of Hill House” into one big family reunion! Check it out: Ouija: Origin of Evil stars Henry Thomas and Elizabeth Reaser have joined the cast of the show as well as Kate Siegel who starred in and co-wrote Hush. Both Kate and Henry also appear in the forthcoming Gerald’s Game. They join previously announced cast members Carla Gugino and Michiel Huisman.

An adaptation of the 1959 Shirley Jackson novel, the 10-episode series is being helmed by Mike Flanagan (Gerald’s Game, Hush, Oculus). The story was adapted in 1963 and 1999, both as The Haunting. This new version is said to be a modern take on the story.

In The Haunting of Hill House, “…four seekers arrive at a notoriously unfriendly pile called Hill House: Dr. Montague, an occult scholar looking for solid evidence of a “haunting”; Theodora, his lighthearted assistant; Eleanor, a friendless, fragile young woman well acquainted with poltergeists; and Luke, the future heir of Hill House. At first, their stay seems destined to be merely a spooky encounter with inexplicable phenomena. But Hill House is gathering its powers—and soon it will choose one of them to make its own.
