Safe Place Locks First Look Distribution Deal: Launches Indiegogo Campaign
In early June, I brought you readers the first taste of Safe Place, which will be filming in the 4th quarter of this year down in Central Florida. Today, the film has opened an Indiegogo campaign to seek $40,000 for the making of the movie. However, that’s not the only news they want to announce!
Safe Place, which is being produced by Black Heart Pictures, has also locked down a first look world wide distribution deal with Terror Films (Unearthed & Untold, Inner Demon, The Tribe). They’ve also cast Alyss Winkler (Space Babes from Outer Space, Plank Face), who will star alongside Ashley Marie Nunes, Genoveva Rossi, Lara Jean Mummert, James Robert Taylor, and Kinsey Krutzler.
Cinematography will be handled by John Granger with editing done by Arturo Portillo. Johnny Macabre will be lead producer while Shane Michaels of Blood and Guts Pictures will be producing with Nicholas Hunt directing.

Synopsis:
Meet Chris Craven, who you’d never know it but has had a horrible tragedy happen to him and his family. He lives in constant fear and holds tremendous anger for the world outside. One night he crosses the paths of six youths who are all out to support their friend Lori’s art gallery opening, her last opening before the six graduate college. In celebration they accept an invitation to the Craven household, for what they believe to be a night of fun. What transpired that night was something they’d never forget, a night where they would be forced to fight to make it back out alive
