The egg hive sequences in Alien and Aliens are both absolutely amazing for two completely different reasons. In the former, it’s astonishing to see the scope and amount of eggs that are ready to hatch at a moment’s notice. In the latter, we see Ripley and Newt stumble into the hive during one of the most tension-filled moments in the film.
