Alice Cooper’s TV Special The Nightmare Coming to DVD!

Alice Cooper has announced that his 1975 TV special The Nightmare, which featured horror icon Vincent Price, will be coming to DVD for the first time with a release date of September 8th. Additionally, the DVD will include the 1976 Welcome to my Nightmare concert film.
The Nightmare followed Steven (played by Cooper) as he goes through a nightmare that he can’t seem to wake from. Price played “Spirit of the Nightmare” and appeared throughout the special, which aired on ABC in 1975. It utilized every song from the Welcome to my Nightmare album, which was the first solo album of Cooper’s.
