Guy Pearce Boards Prometheus?

Until final confirmation comes let’s file this one as coming from the rumor mill, but if this latest Prometheus (you know that sort of Alien prequel thing Ridley Scott’s doing) scoop pans out? Oh happy day!
CHUD is reporting that they received multiple confirmations that veteran actor Guy Pearce (pictured right; Memento, The Hurt Locker, The Road, Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark) has indeed joined the cast. There’s nothing available on just who he plays just yet, but we’ll keep an eye on things.
Prometheus stars Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Rafe Spall, Idris Elba, Sean Harris, Logan Marshall-Green, and Kate Dickie.
Look for it in theatres on June 8th, 2012.
