Alien: Covenant – Ridley Scott Talks Sequel Settings and More!

After seeing Alien: Covenant (review) in the theater, I’m not sure that I can get excited about Ridley Scott making another film in the franchise. Hell, I’m not even sure there will be another film in the franchise. Still, Scott remains optimistic and divulged a few interesting tidbits for the possible sequel.
“[It’s] being written now,” Scott said. “There’ll be three or four different players coming in to investigate, one of which will be the Engineers arriving back to find their planet decimated. I think those ships come and go on regular intervals. I see them as the gardeners of space. Where we go next is obvious. We’re gonna actually go to the planet. In so doing… I’m not going to tell you the story!”
As for what planet he’s referring to, we have no idea. I mean, we already saw the Engineers’ planet. Will we finally be getting to LV-426? Maybe the planet that the crew of The Covenant were originally set for?
