Spider-Man! Where are you coming from Spider-Man… Nobody knows who you areeeeee…

Well, Morgan Freeman certainly did when he donned the cape and fangs to portray Dracula on the vintage children’s TV show “The Electric Company.”

Back in the 70s the great and fanged Morgan Freeman did battle with none other than Spider-Man (Danny Seagren) inside of a movie theater; and thanks to the wonders of YouTube, we have the whole thing for you right here. Freeman’s vampire character also developed into Vincent the Vegetable Vampire, a juice-sucker obsessed with eating vegetables. Freeman appeared on the popular show fromĀ 1971-1977.

Check out the sketches below. Other monsters appeared on “The Electric Company” throughout the 70s including Werewolf (Jim Boyd) and Frankenstein (Skip Hinnant).

Enough talk! Bite into some neat monster-driven nostalgia below!
