Here Are Your Favorite Horror Films Since 2010

Earlier this week, I tweeted out a simple request: “Quote reply me with your favorite horror movie since 2010.” What ensued was, and there’s no other way to put it, a deluge of tweets letting me know what people have enjoyed over the last seven years. It was a magical day for me as I was inundated with nothing but love for the horror genre as people from all walks of life shared the recent films that shocked, terrified, and haunted them.
Interestingly, the top choices that kept getting mentioned were It Follows, The Wailing, Get Out, The Witch and Fede Alvarez’s Evil Dead. Each of these is a fantastic movie but what stands out is how different they are from one another. It goes to show that the diversity of horror is what makes it so appealing and engaging, at least in my eyes.
