Adam Savage’s Tested Enters the Aural World of Alien: Covenant

Ridley Scott’s Alien: Covenant (review) was the big hit this past weekend by taking the #1 spot at the box office. If you still haven’t seen it, below is a great video from Adam Savage (“Mythbusters”) and his YouTube channel Tested where he speaks with Ben Osmo, the sound recordist for the sci-fi/horror film to figure out what makes this film stand apart from others.
Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup, Danny McBride, Demián Bichir, Carmen Ejogo, Amy Seimetz, Jussie Smollett, Callie Hernandez, Nathaniel Dean, Alexander England, and Benjamin Rigby star in Alien: Covenant. Ridley Scott directed the film, which was written by John Logan and Dante Harper based on a story by Jack Paglen and Michael Green.
Synopsis:
Ridley Scott returns to the universe he created, with ALIEN: COVENANT, a new chapter in his groundbreaking ALIEN franchise. The crew of the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise but is actually a dark, dangerous world. When they uncover a threat beyond their imagination, they must attempt a harrowing escape.
