Cannes 2017: Arnold Schwarzenegger Talks Returning to Terminator and Conan Franchises

Arnold Schwarzenegger is in Cannes, where he’s promoting his new film, the environmentally-focused documentary Wonders of the Sea 3D; but of course the subject of Terminator came up when Screen Daily chatted with him. While speaking with the site, Arnold confirmed that he will appear in a new Terminator film to be produced by James Cameron.
“It is back,” said Schwarzenegger, who revealed that he had met Cameron recently and discussed the project. “It is moving forward. He [Cameron] has some good ideas of how to continue with the franchise… I will be in the movie.”
And another popular Schwarzenegger film, Conan the Barbarian, also came up. The actor said that a potential reboot in which he would star is still on the table: “It’s being rewritten… the idea is to do it.”
