Amazing Cast & Crew for Born!

All right, now this one sounds very interesting….
Variety is reporting casting news this morning on a new movie coming our way with Guillermo del Toro on board as producer and Clive Barker as executive producer, called Born. Jennifer Connelly (aka the future Mrs. Butane) has signed on to star alongside Paul Bettany (The Da Vinci Code, Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang). The duo will play a couple who move to a quite English countryside to raise a family but the husband, a stop-motion animator, soon realizes that his creations are acting out a nightmare that comes to life.
Why does it seem like the plot descriptions in Variety are always so damn vague? Anyway, Daniel Simpson is on board to direct working from a script by Clive Barker and Paul Kaye. And as if all that cred weren’t enough to get you excited, the stop-motion animated sequences will be done by the Chiodo Brothers (Killer Klowns From Outer Space)!
Born is the first pic from the newly-formed ClearVision Media Production Group (that’s a mouthful), a shingle put together to produce independent TV shows and films. I’d say with projects like this they’re off to an amazing start! Stay tune for more on Born as we learn it!
