UK gothic rock band Lesbian Bed Death have released an official video for their track “Son of a Thousand Maniacs”, a title that should immediately perk the ears of any horror fan. A direct reference to Freddy Krueger and the A Nightmare on Elm Street franchise, the video, which was directed by by Jason Weidner and Serena Chloe Gardner, embraces this nod by stylizing itself like a scene from one of the films with frontwoman Sienna Venom taking on the role of the Springwood Slasher.

Venom tells Dark Art Conspiracy, “I grew up watching all of the classic 80s horror movies, and the Nightmare On Elm Street franchise was one of my favourites. We’ve always wanted to pay homage to Freddy Krueger in a future music video, and now we’ve finally made it happen with this track.”

You can pick up their latest album Evil Never Dies via iTunes.
