Rosario Dawson, Peter Weller and Alfred Molina Star in Wilson’s Heart; Available April 25
One of the most hyped VR horror games now has a release date, as The Oculus Blog posted an article confirming that developer Twisted Pixel Games’ Wilson’s Heart will launch on the Rift on April 25.
Featuring an A-list cast including Rosario Dawson, Peter Weller And Alfred Molina, Wilson’s Heart uses black and white visuals to tell the story of Robert Wilson, an ageing patient who wakes up trapped in a seemingly abandoned 1940’s hospital to find that not only has his heart been removed and replaced with a strange device, but the so-called ‘place of healing’ is also filled with creatures that want him dead. Everything from killer teddy bears and giant octopus things to mysterious men in gas masks will be trying to snuff out Wilson’s life.
Launching for $39.99, Wilson’s Heart will take around eight hours to complete, making it far longer than the average narrative-driven VR experience. Described as having ‘AAA quality graphics’, you can learn more about Wilson’s Heart ahead of its release on its official website.
