Behold the Ladies of Piranha JPN: Summer of the Piranha!

We got another fun scoop from the production of Piranha JPN (which will be called Summer of the Piranha outside of Japan)! As one would expect from a film like this, there are going to be attractive women in bikinis. Not trying to be sexist here, just saying that the goal of these movies is to put hot people in or near water so that they can get surrounded by flesh-eating fish and torn to pieces. Since that’s the purpose of these films, it only makes sense that the Japanese production is maintaining that tradition.

Late last year, a casting call for the film went out and read as follows:

Film actress / extra recruitment – Early December 2016
Film production presentation “Piranha”
Dancer recruitment deadline – November 30, 2016:
Women aged 18 years or older
Height 160 – 165 cm[5’3″-5’5″]

We were sent a photo of the “Piranha JPN Girls”, which we’re told is a nickname they’ve given themselves. Whether these are dancers or extras is to be seen, but I’m gonna guess it’s the former and not the latter. You can see the ladies below!

Roger Corman will be acting as an executive producer of Piranha JPN with Hisako Tsukuba (aka Chako van Leeuwen) onboard as the producer.
