Jodie Foster Bringing Some Star Power to Neill Blomkamp’s Elysium

Though he hasn’t even begun shopping it to the studios yet, Neill Blomkamp is getting a lot of star power in line for his follow-up to the hit District 9. Next up – an actress who literally drives men wild!

According to Deadline New York Blomkamp’s just gotten Jodie Foster (Silence of the Lambs) to commit and join Matt Damon (Contagion) and District 9‘s Sharlto Copley for the sci-fi film he wrote and will direct as his next project.

The plot is still very much under wraps, but check out the strange viral video that debuted a while back, which has since been dubbed AGM Heartland, below, and let the speculation continue.
