Fan Pinpoints Location of Original Blair Witch Map
One of the bigger easter eggs contained in the film Blair Witch (review) was the appearance of the map that Mike kicked into the creek in the original film. Director Adam Wingard stated earlier, “If any of the viewers out there can spot the map from the first movie in our movie, I’ll give you $200. But you have to point it out. It’s in there. Nobody has ever pointed it out. Even our executives haven’t found it.”
Simon Barrett then doubled the amount to $400. Could anyone actually pull it off and claim the prize?
Well, that person is here, and his name is C.H. Newell.

The scene containing the map happens at the 1:08:44 mark in the film. We went back and got some screenshots for you from the exact moment.
Congrats, C.H.! Great work!
