New Cloverfield Film Coming! God Particle Is Next in Series with More on the Way!

This is some pretty exciting news to hit the horror community just days before Halloween… the previously announced JJ Abrams-produced film God Particle is actually the latest installment in the Cloverfield series. And that’s just the beginning!
According to The Wrap, not only will God Particle be the third inter-connected Cloverfield film, but Abrams and his studio partner, Paramount Pictures, are “quietly” developing more movies for the shared universe, in hopes of releasing a new film each year.
In the upcoming film, a team of astronauts make a “shocking discovery” and end up fighting for survival in what is described as an “altered reality.” Julius Onah directs from a script by Oren Uziel. It stars David Oyelowo, John Krasinski (pictured), Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Ziyi Zhang, Elizabeth Debicki, Daniel Brühl, and Chris O’Dowd.
God Particle opens wide on February 24, 2017. The studio is supposedly releasing some footage soon, possibly as early as today and again on November 2nd, so stay tuned!
