Friday the 13th: The Game Shows Off Brutal Kills in Coolest Video Ever

There are many reasons why we’re excited for Friday the 13th: The Game, not the least of which is that we’ve been BEGGING for a kickass game based on the franchise for many years now. And with Kane Hodder providing the motion-capture and Tom Savini designing the kills, it looks like Gun Media isn’t planning on letting us down.
At XIII PAX West over the weekend, the company showed off a compilation video of some of those Savini-designed kills that you’ll be able to experience in the game, and it’s honestly one of the most badass videos we’ve ever shown off here on Dread. Best of all? This is but a small selection of the impending madness.

The game will hit Xbox One, PS4, and PC in October 2016.
Friday the 13th: The Game is an online, asymmetric multiplayer experience where one player will assume the role of Jason Voorhees against seven other players assuming the roles of camp counselors trying to survive the night.
