Insidious: Chapter 4 Gets 4 More!

More casting news has arrived for Insidious: Chapter 4 as Deadline is reporting that Kirk Acevedo (pictured; Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, “The Walking Dead,” “Oz”), Bruce Davison (The Lords of Salem), Spencer Locke (Resident Evil: Extinction), and Caitlin Gerard (Smiley) have joined the cast.
The four join the previously announced Josh Stewart, Lin Shaye as parapsychologist Elise Rainier, as well as franchise co-creator Leigh Whannell and Angus Sampson, who respectively play Specs and Tucker.
Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions is financing Insidious: Chapter 4 and handling international distribution. Whannell wrote all four Insidious movies and directed Chapter 3. Adam Robitel directs this time.
James Blum, Oren Peli, and James Wan are on board to produce. Steven Schneider, Brian Kavanaugh-Jones, and Charles Layton are executive producing.
Insidous: Chapter 4 is slated to haunt theaters on October 20, 2017.
