Attend a Free Screening of Spike in LA!
With director Robert Beaucage’s horrific fairy tale Spike bowing on DVD this August 3rd, 2010 from Maverick Entertainment Group, the film’s maker is hosting a FREE screening of the flick tomorrow night, July 28th, at 8:00 pm at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles, CA (2021 N. Western Avenue).
Spike stars Edward Gusts as the titular forlorn and, ahem, horny creature and Sarah Livingston Evans as the creature’s unfortunate love interest, and filmmaker Beaucage will be on-hand to host the L.A. screening of his independent film, which received an award as the Best Fantasy Feature Film at last year’s 2009 Shriekfest, as well as having served as the 2008 Best of the Fest Winner at 2008’s Edinburgh International Film Festival.
