TCA Summer 2016: Sarah Paulson Definitely Returning for American Horror Story Season 6

We have some good news for fans of Sarah Paulson, an actress who’s run the gamut of horror roles in FX’s “American Horror Story.” Although we suspected as much already, SpoilerTV is reporting that Paulson confirmed Tuesday at the Television Critics Association’s 2016 Summer Press Tour that she is indeed a member of the top-secret Season 6 ensemble.
While the main plot of this season is yet to be revealed, the first shots from the “AHS” set in Santa Clarita, CA, provide a HUGE hint about the theme, as evidenced by one word etched into a tree: CROATOAN.
“American Horror Story” returns for its sixth installment on FX on Wednesday, September 14, at 10 PM ET/PT. The returning stars for Season 6 are expected to include Kathy Bates, Denis O’Hare, Angela Bassett, Sarah Paulson (just confirmed), Evan Peters, Finn Wittrock, Cheyenne Jackson, Wes Bentley, Lady Gaga, Leslie Jordan, and Matt Bomer. Cuba Gooding, Jr., is rumored to be on-set as well.
