Will James Franco Battle The Predator?!

Filming is expected to take place between September and December of this year on director Shane Black’s franchise reboot The Predator, and thus far we know almost nothing about the film. Who will do battle with the titular beast this time around? The information we’re about to present, we must note, is entirely a rumor.
On the latest episode of Popcorn Talk, host Jeff Sneider spread the rumor.
“Maybe he’s not Shane Black’s top choice, but the powerhouse agency CAA, Creative Artists Agency, they are pushing the name James Franco to star in The Predator,” Sneider revealed. “He is very high on a list. That’s all I know at this point.”
Again, just a rumor. We’ll update you as we learn more.
The Predator, which has a production budget of over $20 million, has been compared to Aliens, and we’re told that the titular monster will be given a brand new redesign for his big return. Additionally, it’s possible that both Arnold Schwarzenegger (as Dutch) and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson will appear, but neither has been confirmed.
