Demonbabies is the pseudonym of LA-based multimedia artist and filmmaker Jesus Rivera, and today his creepy new project You Are All Fucked landed on BitTorrent. But you don’t need to go anywhere else to see it – just scroll down the page a bit.
You Are All Fucked, a grimy, cotton candy-colored trip that will spook you like a dance with the devil, is Part 1 of a twisted trilogy presented by iHeartComix.
The aesthetic and imagery are unforgettable. Paired with chaotic jazz riffs of howling brass, haunting percussions, and an anxious mix of electronic guitar and synthesizers, artists Jesus Rivera and Jonnie Prey (the mad geniuses behind the short, pictured below) meticulously concoct a unique mood and style that will leave you thinking, simply… “WTF?”
“I have always loved the idea of mixing highbrow art gallery grade video performance art with lowbrow Grindhouse, sleazy big-boxed VHS horror movies of my youth,” explains director Rivera.
