Stephen King Warns The Dark Tower May Upset Fans
Believe it or not, the long-gestating feature film adaptation of Stephen King’s beloved novel series The Dark Tower has finally entered production, and we’re now less than a year away from seeing Roland Deschain up on the big screen. But what form will the first film in the planned franchise take? King has a warning.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the master of horror noted that the adaptation “may upset some of the fans a little bit.” Elaborating, King said that the film “starts sort of in media res, in the middle of the story instead of the beginning.”
Big deal, right? We’re just happy it’s finally happening!
