American Psycho Takes a Stab at Being a Musical
Ladies and gentlemen … get ready for the musical stylings of one of our country’s most batshit nuts serial killers – Patriiiiiiiiiick Batemaaaaaaannnnnnnnnn!!!!! *cue applause*
Yep. You read that right. According to Variety American Psycho the musical is taking shape with Duncan Sheik to write music and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (who currently writes for the HBO series “Big Love”) to pen the adaptation!
No word yet on when exactly we’ll be seeing this bizarre idea come to fruition, but the makers of it promise an Eighties vibe. Lord knows what else will make it in. Personally I’m hoping for a Habitrail-up-the-Ass sonata. Keep it locked for more as it comes.
