The Walking Dead – Survivors’ Actions Called into Question by Fans; Bad Move by the Showrunners?

Last night’s episode of “The Walking Dead” has a lot of fans crying foul over seeing their post-apocalyptic heroes doing things that were, shall we say, way out of character for them. Having kept up on both the comics and the show, I know who deserved what, but I can also see where these folks are coming from.

Some people feel that The Saviors should have been allowed to cement their evil ways before action that drastic was taken. For the TV audience unaware of the comic’s events, Rick and company looked more like cowards and the real bad guys (ie: the people they’ve been fighting against), and whatever happens to them as a result is deserved.

That being said, it was a polarizing episode to say the least, but that’s kind of what this show does best… well that and hiding easter eggs for fans to find and talk about… like last night’s Ghost Story homage zombie.
