Zoombies Trailer Unleashes Undead Monkeys, Koalas, Parrots, Lemurs, Lions, and Giraffes – Oh My!

The Asylum is poised to unleash one of its looniest ideas yet: Zoombies. It’s exactly what you think: a zoo overrun by a zombie virus that turns the park’s animals into living dead wildlife. The phrase “Please Do Not Feed the Animals” takes on a whole new meaning when even the herbivores are after your flesh.

Marcus Anderson, Kaiwi Lyman, and Kim Nielsen star in this gonzo supernatural nature gone amok flick from director Glenn R. Miller and screenwriter Scotty Mullen.

Zoombies may not boast the star-studded cameos of Sharknado, but what it lacks in star power it appears to more than make up for with a plethora of zombified zoo animals. In all honesty, this looks like it has the potential to be quite a bit of fun without fully resorting to Sharknado levels of absurdity. The trailer officially won me over when a zombified giraffe bites the guy.

Be on the lookout for Zoombies on March 1st.

Synopsis:
When a strange virus quickly spreads through a safari park and turns all the zoo animals undead, those left in the park must stop the creatures before they escape and zombify the whole city.
