Judging by the stills below, the short film Zombie Playground: Ice Scream is looking like some pretty awesome, good old fashioned zombie fun. Hit the jump for full details.

Zombie Playground is for sure different from the usual zombie short films as it has over 30 zombie children in the cast so this alone set some challenges for director Jason Wright. The film is currently being entered to horror festivals all around the world. Although this is a short film, the production company, Silent Studios, has plans to expand it in the future.
Synopsis:
Zombie Playground: Ice Scream is about two ladies that get lost in a woods and stumble upon a very odd group of children that have survived there for a long time. In the film you will find out why the children survive and what fate awaits the ladies.
Crew:
Jason Wright directed the film; he was born in the UK and is best known for horror films that include Infected (2015), Sweet6teen (2012), and Demon Mist (2010). Jason is also currently working on a few feature films to be released in 2016 and 2017, which include Torture and Zombikini.
Cast:
Jon Campling was born in Yorkshire, UK, and plays the zombie ice cream man in the film; he is known for his appearance in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (2010) as a hand-raising, train-stopping, carriage-boarding, kid-scaring Death Eater!
The two young ladies Winona and Samantha are played by Megan Lockhurst and Rosie Pearson. Megan was born and raised in Milton, Ontario, Canada, and is known for Essex Boys: Law of Survival (2015) and also another zombie short film Extinction, which is due out in 2016. Rosie was born in Sydney, Australia, and is known for a few films including Infected (2015), in which she played the lead role.
David Sellicks was born in Essex, UK, and plays the investigator trying to understand why people are going missing. He is known for his role in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 as a Death Eater and also appeared in Demon Mist (2010).
