G4 Goes Behind the Scenes of the Lost ARG Art Show

default-featured-image

When it first began its run on ABC, we covered Lost fairly regularly, but over the years as the show’s viewership has dropped, so has our coverage. But now that the final season is set to premiere on Tuesday, February 2, 2010, interest is again on the rise; and when a G4 video on the Lost ARG (Alternate Reality Game) art show landed in our mailbox, we figured we’d share it with our readers.

Here’s what’s been happening: Over the past sixteen weeks, Lost fans have been in the grip of an art-related ARG that saw limited-edition posters inspired by the show released once a week, often selling out in a matter of minutes. G4‘s Dana Vinson, herself a Lost junkie, takes us to Gallery 1988 for an event that showcased all of that art in one place.

She met Jensen Karp, the owner of the gallery and mastermind of the whole ARG, talked with several of the artists, and even got some face time with Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse, Executive Producers of Lost (who joke about having one season left to destroy the show’s legacy), to find out what they thought of the whole thing. Watch and learn!
