Tarantino Tweaks Roth’s Endangered Species
Two of Hollywood’s most famous Basterds are still on each other’s side! Eli Roth’s big budget opus Endangered Species is one flick we’ve been really looking forward to since it was announced last spring. Now it appears that Roth is closer than ever to getting back behind the camera to film the movie thanks in part to some great script notes made by Quentin Tarantino.
MTV sat down with Eli, who had this to say regarding his upcoming project:
“Quentin (Tarantino) actually loved the draft and had some really great suggestions, so I’m tweaking the script,” he tells MTV. “And I’m working out some visual effects tests, which is going to determine how I shoot it.”
In our previous story Roth promised the latter film is “going to be something that is really fun with lots of mass destruction … something along the lines of ‘Transformers’ or ‘Cloverfield’ [but] a little more science fiction-based, and with lots of chaos and mass destruction. It is not aliens or robots or a virus – it’s a little more grounded.”
