New Showrunners Taking Over MTV’s Scream for Second Season

It’s common for TV shows to swap showrunners between seasons, and MTV’s “Scream” is the latest to do just that. For the upcoming second season, Jill Blotevogel and Jaime Paglia have been replaced at the helm, and we’ve got all the details for you today. So read on, “Scream” fiends!

Deadline reports that Michael Gans and Richard Register have taken over as showrunners of the MTV series as it prepares a second season, and while Jaime Paglia is completely exiting the show, Jill Blotevogel – who created the series and co-wrote the pilot – will be staying on as a consultant.

MTV renewed “Scream” for a second season back in July.
