AFM 2015: Padraig Reynolds’ Worry Dolls Will Make You Terrified of Handmade Toys

default-featured-image

Although the title of director Padraig Reynolds’ forthcoming horror flick Worry Dolls might make you think he’s taking a well-worn page from the Charles Band book of filmmaking, the trailer strongly suggests otherwise. Instead of having a group of nasty toys butchering a stable of screaming characters, these nasty little dolls have a profoundly disturbing effect on those who encounter them. It doesn’t take very long for the blades to unsheath and the blood to flow.

The folks over at Jinga Film are bringing Worry Dolls to the American Film Market in Santa Monica this November, so hopefully someone will snatch up this flick and bring it to the masses post-haste. Considering Reynolds’ previous flick Rites of Spring was quickly snapped up by IFC Midnight, here’s hoping the same thing unfolds at AFM this year. Fingers crossed!

While we’re waiting to see what happens, check out the Worry Dolls trailer below.
