AFM 2015: New POV Film Puts You in the Killbox

With found footage running its course… and WOW, has it run its course… filmmakers have been scrambling to find the latest technique that will take off while still being cost-effective. Enter POV (or point-of-view) filmmaking. The next one out of the gate is a sci-fi/horror hybrid entitled Killbox.
Empress Road is representing world rights and will be selling Killbox at AFM this year. Check out the trailer for the ultra-violent flick below.
Synopsis:
In a near future industrial wasteland dominated by powerful corporations, a convict is given a second chance at freedom. In exchange for a full pardon he must help a team of corporate thieves steal prototype technology from a rival company. The mission is soon jeopardized, and having lost contact with their company, the team members are forced to take their stolen prize out into the lawless industrial sprawl. They must fight for their lives against savage gangs, dangerous robots, and corporate death squads while coming to grips with the true nature of their mission and the terrifying power of their stolen technology.
