Just because you don’t live in or around a major metropolitan doesn’t mean you have to spend Halloween scare-free. Heavens, no. Banish the thought. For example, people who live in South Carolina have access to something called Deceased Farm, which has teamed up with New York City author Aleister Price to deliver a one-of-a-kind experience. So you might want to bring a clean pair of underwear, you know, just in case. It’s always best to come to prepared for anything.

Deceased Farm describes itself as follows:

Come experience our haunted attraction with 24 nights of terror in 2015! Deceased Farm has 2 haunted attractions with 6 buildings filled with all new scares.

The Main Haunt encompasses 4 buildings that are crammed full of state-of-the-art props and sets inhabited by over 40 live characters surrounded by a 2-acre haunted corn maze.

3D-ceased is a unique 3D experience, with glasses, where terror surrounds you. Once you enter the doors, you will be astonished at the incredibly detailed artwork, props, and creatures lurking around every corner.

Deceased Farm is a very intense attraction and is NOT recommended for small children. We recommend children 12 years of age and up, but we will allow children younger if accompanied by an adult. Keep in mind that we do not offer refunds, so be sure your child is mature enough to handle the experience.

Both haunts are self-guided tours so you can move through at your own pace. The main haunt generally takes between 30 to 45 minutes, and the 3D experience is around 10 to 20 minutes.

For more entertainment check out our new zombie paintball shooting gallery, have a cold one at “Deceased Brews,” or enjoy s’mores around the coffin pit.

Deceased Farm runs from September 24 until November 1, so you have plenty of time to plan your life accordingly. If you need more information about the attraction, including ticket prices and the like, then you need to point yourself in the direction of the official website.
