Resident Evil: Alfterlife Coming September 2010
Resident Evil: Extinction left the door open — wide open — for a sequel even though that powers-that-be at the time said it would be the last entry in the film franchise. Well, I guess you just can’t keep a good ghoul down.
Shock Till You Drop reported on a rumor that has been confirmed that a fourth film tentatively being called Resident Evil: Afterlife is in the works and that Sony is looking to get it into theaters by September 17, 2010.
Further confirmation comes from an interview with star Milla Jovovich, which you can watch below courtesy of Hollywood TV.
Will they get it right this time? Extinction, though kind of crappy, at the very least had zombies in it, and that’s more than we can say for part 2. Keep it tuned.
