Latest on Resident Evil: The Final Chapter; Which Actors Aren’t Returning?

Set to begin shooting this fall in South Africa, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter is indeed going to be the last installment in the long-running franchise, and both Milla Jovovich and Ali Larter will be returning for one more go at it. Who won’t be joining them? We’ve got some details today.
Johann Urb and Aryana Engineer were recently asked by fans if they were involved in the sequel, and they both noted that they were not asked to reprise their roles. The two actors starred in Resident Evil: Retribution, Urb playing Leon S. Kennedy and Engineer playing young Becky.
The clarification came in the wake of both actors being listed on the sequel’s Wikipedia page.
Look for the film on January 27th, 2017.
Written and directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter picks up after the events of Resident Evil: Retribution, as the Project Alice is forced to race against time before the villainous Red Queen attempts to destroy the final remnants of humanity.
Constantin Film’s Robert Kulzer, Impact Pictures’ Jeremy Bolt, Davis-Films’ Samuel Hadida, and Anderson are producing; and Martin Moszkowicz is serving as executive producer.
