See How Shovel and Bone Opens Alleluia! The Devil’s Carnival
Were you able to participate in the online hang-out with Alleluia! The Devil’s Carnival star Emilie Autumn yesterday? Don’t worry if you missed it… the entire 95-minute live chat was saved on video, and you can watch it right here along with “Shovel and Bone,” the film’s opening song.
In Alleluia! The Devil’s Carnival (review), Lucifer (Terrance Zdunich) incites Heaven’s wrath by dispatching train cars full of condemned souls, including Ms. Merrywood (Briana Evigan), a-crashin’ through the pearly gates. God (Paul Sorvino), in response, readies his top negotiator, The Agent (Adam Pascal), for a trip down to The Carnival to put an end to the rebellious deeds.
After triumphant collaborations on 2008’s Repo! The Genetic Opera and 2012’s The Devil’s Carnival: Episode One, cult filmmakers Darren Lynn Bousman and Terrance Zdunich are back with the second installment to their fantasy-musical film franchise. It stars (in alphabetical order) Emilie Autumn, Barry Bostwick, the Butcher Babies, Chantal Claret, Dayton Callie, Briana Evigan, Brea Grant, David Hasselhoff, Kristina Klebe, J Larose, Mighty Mike Murga, Bill Moseley, Ted Neeley, Adam Pascal, rap icon Tech N9ne, Nivek Ogre, Marc Senter, Lyndon Smith, Paul Sorvino, Jimmy Urine, Danny Worsnop, and Terrance Zdunich.
Directed by Bousman and written by Zdunich with music and lyrics by Zdunich and Saar Hendelman, the film is produced by Execution Style Entertainment and Cleopatra Music & Films.
