Star Wars-Inspired The Vampire Awakens Raising Funds

There’s a sci-fi film coming out in December. Something to do with wars in space and people with glowing swords or something. You’d be forgiven if you haven’t heard of it; it’s hardly been receiving any attention at all. Nobody’s been talking about it.
Sarcasm aside, Star Wars: The Force Awakens is going to without a doubt be one of the highest grossing films of all time, in addition to being one of the most hyped. Somehow, some Australian filmmakers got a look at the script and are filming their own version of the story, albeit with vampires. Yes, vampires.
“What if Star Wars was retold with vampires?” they ask. Well, we’ll get The Vampire Awakens, for which they’re trying to raise $6000 AUS. So if you always felt that Star Wars needed more bite (sorry), then contribute here.
