We enjoyed the hell out of Season 1 of Syfy’s “Z Nation” and have been waiting to hear when Season 2 will be kicking off. If you’re in the same boat, then read on because we have not only the S2 premiere date but also the first trailer!
More zombie goodness is on the way in the second season of “Z Nation,” which starts Friday, September 11th, at 10/9c PM.
As we learned from Craig Engler, one of the show’s creators, at the end of Season 1, “There’s an idea that’s come up for Season 2 that we definitely haven’t seen before in the zombie world… Whenever we can do something that is new and innovative that we know people are going to like, we jump at the chance. We have several moments like that coming up.”
Synopsis:
“Z Nation” starts three years after the zombie virus has gutted the country. A team of everyday heroes must transport the only known survivor of the plague from New York to California, where the last functioning viral lab waits for his blood. Although the antibodies he carries are the world’s last, best hope for a vaccine, he hides a dark secret that threatens them all. With humankind’s survival at stake, the ragtag band embarks on a journey of survival across three thousand miles of rusted-out post-apocalyptic America.
