Ruairi Robinson Headed for The Farm
While I won’t hold it against Irish director Ruairi Robinson for undertaking the Akira remake, his attachment to The Farm, a new development at Spitfire Pictures, sounds like something worth taking note of.
Bloody Disgusting got the scoop today that Robinson will direct The Farm from a script by Matthew Arnold. The potentially creepy premise will center on man who awakens to discover his entire community has vanished without a trace. During his investigation, he discovers that he is the disappeared, however, and that he’s now prisoner to a host of aliens that need the human race for their own survival.
No word on casting or a possible production date yet, but watch this space. We’ll give it as soon as we get it.
