Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters 2 – Director Finally Conjured Up!

It’s been a long while since last there was anything to report regarding Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters 2, but that stops now as The Tracking Board is reporting that renowned French director Bruno Aveillan will be at the helm of the flick!
A source close to the project informed the site that Paramount is looking to pump a little more excitement into the franchise and is already searching for a new scribe to rewrite original director Tommy Wirkola’s script. Specific plots details are kept mum, though the story will once again follow witch-hunting warriors Hansel and Gretel, played by Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton, respectively, who must take up arms to vanquish an even greater threat.
Beau Flynn is returning to produce via his Flynn Picture Co. along with Kevin Messick, Will Ferrell, and Adam McKay through their Gary Sanchez Productions banner. Ashley Brucks, Gabby Canton, and Elizabeth Raposo will oversee for Paramount.
